Featured Rescue: Toronto Cat Rescue
Our cats are rescued from the Waterloo region and surrounding areas. We rescue cats from shelters, barns, the streets, overcrowding situations, and from owners who can no longer care for their cat. All of our cats are assessed and fully vetted before being placed for adoption. We rely on a network of volunteers (drivers, foster homes and store volunteers) to help each cat’s journey from the rescue stage to the adoption stage.
We have a great partnership with the Region of Waterloo PetSmart Stores. We are currently in the adoption centres of the PetSmart Cambridge, PetSmart Kitchener and PetSmart Waterloo stores. To maintain our partnership with these stores, we have a dedicated team of volunteers in each store who cover daily shifts to ensure the cats in each store are cared for physically and emotionally with play time outside of their cages.
